My Name is Danny McNett and I came to Integrity House September 2, 2008. I came to Integrity house and to my shock there was no music program. I just did not want a program separating CDs & DVD in media. It was just Clerical, Kitchen, Maintenance, & Media. I am trying to change that.
I would like to start a group called The Integrity Band. I wanted to create a band that comes out with its own tryout for singing, which will be held Friday February 27,2009 I hope it will be self-sustaining to bring money that’s needed to up-keep for computers & other things at a time of State Government cutback in Sacramento & Washington DC federal cutback .
I would like a documentary and a recording studio, a place & a bigger parking lot with conditioning I came from a program called where the program director brings anybody through the front door and did not bring money through the back door, which would endanger safety and did not take care of the individual.
One day, I saw a person who is blind and suffers from mental retardation, and of all things he was playing with shaving cream. singing group for 12 years, and my biggest reason not to go to another program was that there, supposedly was no program that fit all the specifications I needed. I Quitted July 17, 2008.
I would like this program to give jobs in the entertainment field to clients in TV show & movies not just Burger King McDonald Taco Bell & Carl Jr there is nother wrong with it, but not everbody can do it. I think the people with disabililties should be represented in every jobs across the board I know it just a dream but it mine` that is what programs like to improve their members.
However, I would like to see handicapped People to be reptented in entertainment business come out of the shadows. I do not want a monopoly of the group in case something happens to the group, like in my case, I had wound problems 2006 & 2007. I went to a Wound Care in December 2007.
What happened is a vane opened on my left foot at first I thought it was a fluke and then a another show right behind it, the wound is called a amorism, when one person is down whole group down, as we get older we start having heath problems. James Rowell had bladder surgery another member of The Pride, goting as a group if the people arould you cant do it.
that it could have been avoided . in June 1997 it was simple we got 6 weeks Vacation plus what days were giving Durring the year, now we got less time off little by little dwindled every year in till the present. I was in & out of the program Creative Identity by 1998 my mother had demonian.By January 21, 2002 I returned and I was shock the program change we were working harder and getting less time off.
it would not had happined, just by talking to him, but people are replaceable at the Program,Because loyalty is base on how retarded you are if you not retarded anough your not worth anything. I believe that would not happened at Integrity House with beef up security. I don’t believe in a Program Strictly Adult baby sitting, are still trying get a music therapies for the program.
